Dr. Mike Jerowsky
Hello! I’m Mike Jerowsky, an educational technologist and geography instructor based in Vancouver, B.C.
As an educational technologist at UBC, I collaborate with educators to integrate emerging technologies into engaging, sustainable, and accessible classrooms. In my role as a sessional instructor, I teach courses on environmental policy and management while fostering critical thinking, collaborative learning, and responsible use of technology to address environmental challenges.
Beyond the university, my commitment to environmental stewardship shapes my volunteer work. As the president of the Pacific Spirit Park Society, I promote the protection and restoration of urban ecosystems and lead inclusive environmental education programs. Additionally, as the vice-president of the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation, I work to ensure equitable access to nature and sustainable management of regional parks.
Please feel free to reach out—I’m always eager to connect, explore new ideas, and discuss potential collaborations!
